The village of Montsalier

In the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, a few steps from the Vaucluse and the Luberon, the village of Montsalier defines the landscape . Discover this typically Provençal village where you will enjoy strolling and discovering the rich history. The center of the village is dotted with small streets and houses with colorful facades, in ocher tones.

The Old Montsalier is today in ruins. You will find the remains of Old Montsalier on the rocky peak.

Montsalier is ideally located on the Route de la Lavande. 

The village of Banon

This picturesque village in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence is located a few steps from Montsalier. Visiting Banon means exploring its calades, its paved streets, the Le Bleuet Bookstore, its pretty Romanesque church, but it is also following in the footsteps of Jean Giono. 

During your visit to Banon, don't miss the Banon AOC goat's cheese, dry sausage with fennel, nougat, truffles and lavender.  

Mont Ventoux

Classified as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, the Montagne de Lure is a must between Haute-Provence and the Southern Alps. This little corner of preserved paradise will seduce you with its wild fauna and flora, its breathtaking landscapes and its diverse and varied activities. 

Apt, Capitale du Fruit Confit

Apt is a charming town, typical of Provence, which will seduce you with its authentic charm and its rich history. Stroll through the center and its surroundings, and discover the Sainte-Anne Cathedral, the public garden, the Salignan mill, the geology museum, the Apt market and the Clock Tower. On sunny days, the Apt nautical base, the Apt lake, welcomes you for refreshing moments!

Colorado Provençal in Rustrel

A few minutes of driving are enough to reach Colorado Provençal. These old ochre quarries offer you two trails, between green nature and the characteristic color of the quarries. You will get breathtaking views, but also information about the region and these old ocher exploitations.
